Now in my early 50s, I have spent almost 30 years as a teacher; communicating ideas about History, Cultures, Religions and Customs. In a sense you could say that my music is a Global Studies lesson put to music; a reflection of the way the musicians of The Exploration Project see the world today; not a fantasy about what might be or what one wishes the world to be. Ours is a view of the realities that face all of us living in the new millenium. These truths may or may not be popular; however, Our music is only one perspective of our world. People are still free to accept or reject our perspective. 

      The Music of The Exploration Project is layered. there are musical sounds that represent political, social and economic concepts. If you have any of our 13 Cds, you may have heard various sounds that evoke imagery to you as the listener.  The more you listen to our music, the more visual imagery comes into being.
The Exploration Project has been called " A Sonic Maelstrom, fit to burst with fantastic, sonic, avant gard guitar experiements" (See the website page called reviews for more details). We just play and see what happens. The music swarms around you as if you are in the center of a hurricane.
Our cover art is interesting too. Do you really think that the cover of Visions and Abstractions is just a weather map! Look again, maybe it is a human eye looking right at you; judging you! Could it be a planet in the solar system! or maybe it is a sinking whirlpool swirling around in the ocean. The interpretation is up to you the viewer/listener. Why should I say anything anyway!
