The home studio of The Exploration Project consists of two different stations. All stations are linked into two independent computers; one a desk top Pentium 4 and the other a laptop pentium 4. On the desk top I am running Guitar Tracks Pro by Cakewalk/Sonar. The Laptop runs Sonar Producer 3.0.. Tracks are recorded mostly by direct link up with either of these two computers through a Tascam US122 interface. Recently, four professional studio microphones were added to the arsenal which are also linked into the Tascam US122. All seventeen guitars, two electric basses and the keyboard synthesizer are linked via the Tascam US122 as needed.
Additional Equipment include; Tascam PortoStudio 5,Teac A3340s Reel to Reel four Channel Tape Recorder, JVC XL R5010 Analog to CD Converter/duplicator, Onkyo R1 analog cassette tape duplicator, Fender Cyber Deluxe Guitar Amp, Fender Frontman 25., Hartke B30 Bass Amp and Stax Pamoramic Headphones with a solid state amp ( See website pictures for additional information.)
Future upgrades included the possiblity of a couple of Neumann U87s as well as a couple of Rode's, Samson's and AKGs. Additionally, I will be upgrading to Sonar Producer 5.0 as well.
