  After 31 years of joy and dedication as a NYC Public School Teacher, Scott Rifkin will be retiring as of June 2008. He will be devoting the rest of his time to Music and other endeavors. He will miss all the friends he has made while working in the NYC Pubic School System SMR 3/14/08

The Exploration Project would like to thank all those who attended our performance at The Make Music New York Festival and The Bowery Poetry Club on Jume 21, 2008.

The Exploration Project will start working on a new studio Cd over this summer.  Matt Posner has written some outrageous new poetry that is just beyond words. Scott Rifkin will be playing guitars and synth machines/keyboards on it as well. The cover art will be done by Eric Henty. This new Cd should be released in early winter 2008.

   Scott Rifkin has commissioned Michael McBroom,  luthier, to build a Concert Model 10 String Guitar and James DeCava to build a 20 String Doubleneck Guitar. Check out the links page of this website for more information about these two great luthiers.
